Nos avisaron que Shepard Fairy, ( artista y diseñador gráfico estadounidense que surgió de la escena del ¨skateboard¨ y famoso por la creación del poster HOPE para la campaña de Barak Obama en el 2008), estaba trabajando en un mural ubicado en el área de South Park en San Diego, California.
Llegamos a verlo durante la producción del mural, y fue muy interesante verlo trabajar y dirigir su obra con ayuda de su gente y de una grúa. Ver los aerosoles tirados en el piso, sus jeans manchados, etc.
Había bastante gente que iba y venía grabándolo y tomándole fotografías. Aquí les dejo las fotos. |

We were told that Shepard Fairey ( the famous contemporary artist who emerged from the skateboarding scene and then created the HOPE poster for Obama's 2008 presidential campaign) was working on a mural in the area of South Park in San Diego, California. We stopped by and it was really interesting to see him work, to see the spray paint cans on the ground , his jeans dirty with paint.
There were a lot of people taking pictures and video of his work.
