Rick Owens, junto con Ann Demeuluemeester y Martin Margiela, es uno de mis diseñadores vanguardistas favoritos, me gusta cómo él mismo, describe su trabajo:

"Trato de hacer ropa de la misma manera en que Lou Reed hace música, con cambios de acordes mínimos y muy directo. Es dulce pero un poco aterrador. Se trata de darle a todo lo que hago una sensación de estar usado y de suavidad.   De una elegancia teñida de un poco de barbaridad, de la malhechura de algo que se arrastra y del lujo del desenfado".

Rick Owens, (along with Martin Margiela and Ann Demeulemeester), is one of my favorite fashion forward designers. I love how he describes his work:

"I try to make clothes the way Lou Reed does music, with minimal chord changes, and direct. It is sweet but kind of creepy. It's about giving everything I make a worn, softened feeling. It's about an elegance being tinged with a bit of the barbaric, the sloppiness of something dragging and the luxury of not caring."

ANKLE BOOTS

He visto muchos de estos botines últimamente, tanto en mujeres como en hombres.

Me gustan mucho, y se me hace que para las mujeres son una muy buena opción como zapato de piso.

Ya subiré más fotos de este tipo de zapato pronto.

I´ve seen a lot of these ankle booties lately. I think they are a great option for women who like to wear flat shoes.

AT A DOG BEACH

A pair of plastic boots would of been great, It wasn't that comfortable walking around with wet sandy tennis shoes...

BETTER THAN I THOUGHT

Por fín empiezan a llegar todos los zapatos para la siguiente temporada, entre ellos las botas Celine que tanto me gustan. Por supuesto y como me lo esperaba, estan mejor en persona que en la foto.

At last, all the shoes we ordered for the next year are finally arriving. Among them, the boots by Celine that I love so much. They are more beautiful than I thought they´d be.

Durante mi última visita a Roma, tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Biba en su tienda Luna e l´altra.

Hasta ahora, no había conocido una persona con tan buen gusto y con tanto conocimiento de la moda.

Por fin, unos jeans que no tengo que mandar cortar o doblarlos porque estan muy largos. Ya lo sé, si tan sólo fuera un poquito más alta no tendría este problema... En fin, para eso existen los tacones.
