I love all of these looks. The structured coats and jackets, combined with scarfs (some worn as belts) and everyday pants are amazing. However my absolute favorite piece are the combat boots.

POP TONALA

I stopped by the "Pop Tonalá" exhibition at the Guadalajara Country Club and fell completely in love with the project. Artisans from Tonalá, México decorate fashion items such as "Converse" tennis shoes with the traditional designs, some dating back to centuries ago.  The purpose behind the project is to invite the younger generations to continue with this ancient tradition.

If you are interested in purchasing a pair of these collectable "Converse"  you can get all the information here. A pair costs around US$260 dollars and takes about 10 days to complete.

 I will sure post more and better pictures when I personally meet these amazing artists.

 Hoy me encontré con este niño que traía las pulseras "Silly bandz". Aquí en México, las usan en su mayoria los niños. En Europa las ví en la famosa tienda "Collette" en París,

costaban 5 Euros ¡cada una! 

Lo que habría gastado este niño en pulseras...

Saw this kid wearing "Silly bandz" bracelets today. These are mostly worn by children here in Mexico.

I saw them at the famous "Collette" store in Paris last month. They were 5 Euros each! 

This kid would have spend quite a lot of money on these...

El domingo pasado conocí a "Rufles" ( Guillemard Jeoffrey ), fotógrafo francés que viaja por México tomando fotografías para venderlas en las calles.

Lindísimas sus pulseras hechas por los indios huicholes.

Last Sunday I met "Rufles" (Guillemard Jeoffrey) , a French photographer that travels through Mexico selling his pictures on the street.
